About us
| In 1953 John D. Pittenger decided to
quit his normal day job for the Post Office and build houses. The
Post-WWII boom was beginning to spread to New Jersey and people were in
need of good homes in the area. John D. Pittenger decided to help
fill that void. Pittenger Builders is a family owned and managed
business specializing in custom houses and office buildings. |

Builder's motto is: We are large enough to get the
job done, yet small enough to get it done right.
Hundreds of our houses in the Wall Township, Neptune area and
throughout Monmouth County New Jersey attest to this. We know
that housing needs vary from family to family and we build according
to their choices. While most builders limit choices, we offer
an abundance of them. |

In recent years we have branched
into constructing high quality low-rise office buildings.
Presently we have just finished a building at Autumn Ridge and site
work has begun on Brandywine in Neptune City, NJ. These are
medical/office buildings in highly desirable locations well suited
for medical and other professional offices.
As in all our construction, these buildings are state-of-the-art
built with strict attention to detail and are well constructed
